Ballistic Armor Testing

TurtleSkin SoftPlate body armor technology is designed and tested to ensure higher safety margins of penetration and blunt trauma protection in a concealable Level IIIA ballistic package. The unique laminate construction of SoftPlate armor provides the ability to absorb and dissipate energy over a greater backface area, significantly reducing non-penetrating injuries associated with ballistic impact.

Our innovative armor package utilizes specialized high performance laminate materials typically found in hard armor ballistic protection. Through our patented manufacturing process we are able to produce a flexible, concealable armor package with performance characteristics of hard plate ballistic armor.
